Carousel ads combine a number of images or videos into a single ad that the audience can scroll through. To create an Instagram carousel ad you’ll need a Meta Business Suite account. Head to the main dashboard, then:

  1. Click the “Create” button in the top left of the screen.
  2. Choose a campaign objective that supports the carousel format.
  3. Fill in your basic campaign details (budget, audience, schedule, placement, etc.)
  4. In “Ad Setup”, choose “Carousel”.
  5. In “Ad Creative”, choose the images/videos you’d like to feature in the ad.
  6. Post your carousel ad, then analyse and optimise its performance over the course of the campaign.
