At Traction Marketing we are looking for a marketing associate to join our consulting team.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced consultants to support live client campaigns across SEO, paid media, analytics, content and marketing operations. You will execute clearly defined tasks, analyse performance data, use structured systems, and contribute to real client growth. This is a hands on, high standards environment designed to build strong digital capability quickly and set you up for long term progression into consulting. As an SEO/SEM specialist at Traction, you will:
- Manage your own accounts and build strong relationships with clients
- Understand their goals and needs and develop effective SEO and SEM strategies and campaigns
- Implement, monitor, and optimize your projects using various tools and platforms
- Analyze and report on the performance and outcomes of your projects
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in SEO
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- A Google Ads certification or equivalent
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
It would be nice if you also have:
- Experience in SEM or other digital marketing channels
- Experience in working at a digital marketing agency
- Proficiency in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
- Experience in managing LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok accounts
What you’ll be:
Hands-on: You’ll be willing to try new things and get your hands dirty (metaphorically!)
Analytical: You’ll be excited by numbers, particularly the ones that grow, and you’ll be able to draw insights from them.
Ambitious: You’ll be on a constant search for improvement. Too much won’t be enough.
Self-starting: You’ll be autonomous, and able to more or less manage your workload.
Curious: You’ll be interested in the latest and greatest, and you’ll keep abreast of new techniques and technologies.
Focused: You’ll hone in on the things that are most important and will make the most difference.
