From Invisible to Page One: Building a Foundation for Growth

Sharp Glass had a strong service offering — from emergency glazing to pet door installations — but their website wasn’t helping them grow. Key landing pages weren’t structured around how people actually searched, and their local visibility needed work.

We rebuilt their core pages from the ground up, starting with pet doors. Instead of relying on a single generic page, we split the content into dog door and cat door installations to target more specific queries. Then we optimised content, updated metadata, and improved internal linking across all key services — including double glazing repairs and emergency glass callouts.

We also strengthened their local SEO footprint and set up full tracking via GA4, Google Search Console, and keyword rank monitoring — giving the team clear visibility into what was working.

In just three months, clicks more than doubled, impressions increased by over 80%, and Sharp Glass now ranks on page one for most of their core services — all without paid ads.

Targeting the Right Traffic

Rather than chasing rankings for broad, low-converting terms, we focused on high-intent keywords tied to specific services and locations. We identified low-performing pages through analytics and rebuilt them with clearer structure and purpose — prioritising what would actually move the needle for lead generation.

By creating distinct landing pages for dog and cat door installations and refining their double glazing and emergency services content, we made it easier for customers to find exactly what they were looking for — and easier for Google to understand and index the content.

This wasn’t just about SEO — it was about aligning their site with how real customers search and buy.

The team at Traction have been able to deliver real results, with impact on my business in a far quicker timeframe than I had anticipated. Being kept up to date with the data regularly and working on where to go next has been great and I am looking forward to seeing the progress continue. Dan Moore, CEO of Sharp Glass

Making Every Page Work Harder

Beyond content and keyword work, we looked at how the site was structured internally. Service hub pages were updated to link clearly to supporting subpages, creating a stronger crawl path and better user journey.

On the local SEO side, we reviewed their Google Business Profile setup and cleaned up inconsistent category data — small tweaks that made a noticeable difference in local visibility tools like Local Falcon.

We also began building a healthier backlink profile to support long-term authority growth.

The Result

Within the first 3 months, Sharp Glass saw significant gains:

• Organic clicks more than doubled (from 891 to 1.79K)

• Impressions grew from 55.9K to 102K

They now rank on page one for their most valuable local keywords, including dog door installations, double glazing repairs, and emergency glass services.

“They’re adaptable, super knowledgeable and have great communication skills! They work hard to understand and cater to your unique business needs, and they’re experts in helping you scale.”
